TO ALL PARISHIONERS: You are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting  of the Parish on Monday 14th May 2012 in Shipdham WI Hall at 7:00 pm. Please do come if you can.
At 7:00 pm, prior to the formal start of the annual meeting, Tracey Baxter from the BDC anti-social behaviour team and a representative of the police, will present reports in relation to anti-social behaviour in the village.

It is with sorrow that we record here the death of Brian Kidd. Brian made distinguished contributions to the life and work of Shipdham over many years, right up to the time of his death and he will be long remembered. We intend to post an account of his devoted work and achievements for Shipdham (often in partnership with his wife Joanne) on the website as soon as practicable.

The Parish Council are thinking of buying a portable Speed Indicator Display (SID) to show motorists the actual speed they are doing and to anonymously record the volume and type of passing traffic. Come to the WI Hall at 6pm on Monday March 12th (before the Parish Council meeting) to see it demonstrated by the manufacturers (Westcotec, a Dereham company) and express your views.
