BRECKLAND LOCAL PLAN – OPEN PUBLIC MEETING – now starting at 8PM

August 30th, 2017

An Open Public Meeting is being held on 25th September in the WI Hall  Shipdham

SUBJECT: Breckland Local Plan

The Local Plan contains the strategy and policies that will deliver sustainable development in Breckland up to the year 2036.

We are currently in a pre-submission Period – a time open for public review and comment, prior to submission to a Government Planning Inspector.  This is your opportunity to view the “soundness” of the draft Local Plan. You can comment on whether the proposals set out an appropriate strategy to meet the housing, employment and infrastructure requirements of the district and are consistent with national policy.

You can see how this affects Shipdham by viewing the document on line, or in hard copy format at local town libraries.

You can submit your comments using the appropriate forms from

planningpolicyteam@breckland.gov.uk

http://consult.breckland.gov.uk/portal

You can also come along and share your thoughts and views as residents of Shipdham at the meeting above.
